Snow Tonight

I didn't come to grad school in Boston so that I could live among the weak and ill-prepared. If that's what I wanted, I would have gone to Santa Barbara and gone shoeless. I need a place where the weather kills off the sick and weak, and only the strong survive. Needless to say, I've been mightily disappointed by the weather this year; not least because I root for Exxon-Mobil the way New Yorkers go for their Yankees.

I don't drive, and while I'd rather it be 1-3 feet, I welcome a decent 1-3 inch snowfall tonight. Here's to 55 inches in February, and a Nor'easter for my birthday!
